Critical to the TaylorMade Performance Lab is the MAT-T system (Motion Analysis Technology by TaylorMade), an innovative tool that gathers vital swing data using multiple high-speed cameras and specially designed software. MAT-T distils that information to create a three-dimensional computer-animated swing image that’s viewable from every angle, including from above and below. Trackman To Analyse Your Shots
TrackMan™ is a high-tech, computer-driven tool that uses Doppler Radar technology to capture and deliver real-time data and graphics, including a 3-D image of your trajectory. TrackMan breaks down the elements of your individual shots and reports on launch angle, spin-rate, smash factor, initial velocity, carry distance, roll, total distance and even altitude. Widely used by TaylorMade’s Tour Staff professionals, TrackMan quickly shines light on the differences between the perception golfers have regarding the quality of their shots and reality.
TaylorMade Selectfit To Validate Your Recommendation
The MAT-T system and TrackMan deliver data that, combined, is invaluable to the process of “dialing in” the club and ball specifications that will maximise your distance and accuracy. The TaylorMade SelectFit system gives the TaylorMade Performance Lab staff the power to validate the recommendations of MAT-T and TrackMan immediately. At the heart of TaylorMade SelectFit is a quick-change method developed by TaylorMade’s R&D department to securely yet temporarily attach clubheads to shafts. Dozens of heads of varying characteristics and dozens of shafts of differing make, flex, kickpoint and length can be combined.
