TaylorMade-adidas Golf staffers Simon Khan and Jason Day claimed victory on either side of the pond yesterday

Simon Khan fired a 5-under par 66 to complete the biggest come-from-behind victory in the history of the BMW PGA Championship – the flagship event of the European Tour, which attracts some of the best players in the world. Khan, who accepted a sponsor’s invite on Monday, relied on his TaylorMade-adidas Golf equipment en route to his second career European tour victory at the Wentworth Club.

Simon relied on his R9 Driver to navigate the West Course's new layout and the stopping power of his Penta TP golf ball on the hard, slick greens. His win gives him a ticket to The 150th Open Championship, a 5 year exemption on the European Tour and a cool cheque for €750,000.

“This means everything. This tournament is the reason I started playing golf and just being here is special this year." commented Simon Khan.

On the other side of the Atlantic, fellow TaylorMade-adidas staffer, Jason Day, notched his first career PGA Tour win at the HP Byron Nelson Championship, carding a final-round 72 to edge the field by two shots. Day, 22, earned his breakthrough victory playing the Burner SuperFast TP driver, TP wedges with xFT, and the Penta TP golf ball.
